HWCEC will be hosting a school supply drive benefiting young children (5-7 years old) in Niger, Africa. One of HWCEC’s military families has a family member currently serving in Niger, and they let us know about this amazing project. These American soldiers are starting a local English program for children 5-7 years old, and they are in need of school supplies.

Children in many parts of the world don’t have access to school supplies that help their education and prepare them for a bright future. To help address this need, we are asking for donations of pencils, chalk, notebooks, books in English, and other age-appropriate school supplies.

Any school supply donations can be made to your classroom’s front porch starting March 6th. Donations will be collected through March 17th.
