Not all heroes wear capes.

Karen, a single mom of 2 children works at a health clinic in Northwest Arkansas. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the clinic is open, and Karen needs child care to get to work to be able to diagnose and treat patients. “It’s a blessing to have HWCEC open to accommodate us working parents,” said Karen.

Families considered "vulnerable" are given priority to access the emergency care provided at the Helen R. Walton Children’s Enrichment Center. Families that include:

  • Commercial Facilities

  • Communications

  • Critical Manufacturing

  • Emergency Services

  • Energy

  • Financial Services

  • Food and Agriculture

  • Government Facilities

  • Healthcare and Public Health

  • Transportation Systems

  • Water and Wastewater Systems

Tuition will be based on the Helen R. Walton Children’s Enrichment Center’s sliding scale tuition model. Your support will provide scholarship funding to offset the cost in what families can afford to pay.
