NWA Gives

The drop-off procedure was a bit different than a usual Monday.

Families and staff washed their hands immediately upon arrival before heading to a health station where temperature checks and questions are answered regarding recent travel and screening for symptoms. Jared, a father who works for the city utility office has been allowed to work from home until he had child care. He was needed back in the field and the center opening up to provide emergency care allowed him to do that this week. Jared shared that being able to bring his children to the center everyday is much less stressful for his family, his employer, and especially his children.

In an effort to provide care for the children of hospital staff, emergency responders, food distribution, media and other essential workers in Northwest Arkansas, the Children’s Enrichment Center is offering emergency child care as the pandemic unfolds and will extend as needed. Tuition will be based on the Helen R. Walton Children’s Enrichment Center’s sliding scale tuition model

At the Helen R. Walton Children’s Enrichment Center, the welfare of our community is always our top priority. We rely heavily on the community’s support to offset the high cost of childcare for families throughout Northwest Arkansas. Your support will provide scholarship funding to offset the cost in what families can afford to pay.  https://nwagives.org/nwa-gives-helen-r-walton-childrens-center/
