NWA Gives is a Region-Wide Giving Day for Nonprofits Across Northwest Arkansas.

Emergency medical staff aren't the only ones affected by the closure of schools and preschools. Larry, in a leadership position at a for-profit grocery, said several of his workers are already unavailable because they don't have child care. Some of them have been trying to arrange for babysitters,"But that is challenging too, not only do they have a hard time paying for the sitters, they also worry about this short term answer to a long term problem”.

In an effort to provide care for the children of hospital staff, emergency responders, food distribution, media and other essential workers in Northwest Arkansas, the Children’s Enrichment Center is offering emergency child care as the pandemic unfolds and will extend as needed. Tuition will be based on the Helen R. Walton Children’s Enrichment Center’s sliding scale tuition model. Your support will provide scholarship funding to offset the cost in what families can afford to pay.
