How is HWCEC meeting the need?

How are we helping our current families? Sarah works as a teacher at HWCEC, where her two girls also attend. Sarah's husband, Matt, recently lost his job as a manager, leaving the family in a tough situation, they did not have enough money to pay all of the bills and buy groceries for the next month. At HWCEC, we want to ensure that all families have their needs met, and they know that we are here to help. Our family services coordinator was able to connect Sarah and Matt to the resources they needed to pay all of their bills and make sure there is food on their table. This assistance allowed Matt the time needed to find a potential job as a manger. Sarah is excited to report that Matt has advanced to a second interview and the family is hopeful!
